It has been an absolute pleasure having a front row seat to watch my best friend Kyle Johnson’s growth in perfecting his artistic craft. There is one word that stands out when I think of his Photography and that is… Mastery.

I was around for Kyle’s first few Digital Photographs and just last week a copy of his current Campaign with Filson Outdoor Clothing (one of my personal favorite brands) arrived at my door via US Mail. It was a very surreal moment for me. There was a period of time where I would go out and buy every publication he was published in, it trailed out when I couldn’t keep up with the growth and frequency of him getting published. I did however buy a copy of the New York Times Sunday Magazine he was featured in a few months back, as that’s kind of a big deal. I will always be amazed by his work and proud of his success as my friend.

It was a great pleasure to walk with him though his journey on the episode. Nothing worth having comes easy and I hope this brings inspiration to others beginning their personal journey in pursuing their own passion. I know we will only see greater things from Kyle as he continues to grow and I can’t be more excited to watch his journey to the VERY TOP continue.
